Looks like Yu is running out of model names. Today in a press event, Micromax owned Yu brand unveiled their new smartphone in India. The all new Yu Yunique 2 is now available in the country with a 5-inch HD display and 13-megapixel primary camera. The new Yu Yunique 2 costs Rs. 5,999.
Yu Yunique 2 is a successor of their recently launched Yureka Black. The device sports a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. For protection, it has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. It runs on a 1.3Ghz MediaTek quad-core processor coupled with a 2GB of RAM. The device offers a 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card.
Yu Yunique 2 offers a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. Fortunately, the smartphone comes with some special features including inbuilt night mode and panorama support. The connectivity options include 4G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and FM for connectivity. The device is powered by a 2,500mAh battery.
When considering the features offered, the Yu Yunique 2 is a really good deal for Rs. 5,999 in India. It comes in two color variants – Champagne and Black. It will be a Flipkart exclusive and will be available for purchase starting July 27 at 12PM.
Good entry level device. Would love it try out as a secondary device.
