Indian smartphone brand Micromax’s subsidiary section Yu Televentures today launched the latest device in the company’s entry-level smartphone segment – YU Ace – in the country. Unlike the earlier smartphones which were aiming at the midrange market, the company released the device in the entry-level segment, where the company could attract more users to their latest product.
YU Ace entry-level smartphone comes with a 5.45-inch HD+ (720 x 1440p) screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. The corners are little curved to feel more premium. The smartphone vendor provides the device with a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 Chipset under the hood, paired with 2GB RAM. The smartphone model carries 16GB of Internal Storage. Another highlight of the smartphone that makes it capable to be considered one among the best in the category is its humongous battery of 4,000mAh.
YU Ace has a metal unibody design, which accompanies a 13MP camera sensor and a fingerprint scanner on the rear. The front-facing snapper module features a 5 MP sensor. The company also lauds a face unlock feature that is boosted by the software.
The Indian smartphone company announced the smartphone availability from September 6th exclusively through Flipkart starting at INR 5,999. The color options available for the device model are Charcoal Grey, Elektric Blue, and Rose Gold.
