Xiaomi India today announced the official availability of their newer smartphone Redmi 4 through the offline stores in India. Starting today, the devices are now available at the local mobile shops near your place. At the launch time, it was available only via Amazon and Mi.com, now it is coming to the local stores.
However, the offline prices are different from the online. Officially the devices cost Rs. 6,999 for the 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage variant, Rs. 8,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant and Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. But in offline stores, it costs additional Rs. 500 for the smartphones. That means you will have to pay Rs. 7,499 for the 2GB/16GB variant, Rs. 9,499 for the 3GB/32GB variant and Rs. 11,499 for the 4GB/64GB variant.
But, Xiaomi has no official information about the offline pricing. They are still collecting data about the pricing of local stores. However, they said that the pricing may vary by the retailer. Pre-orders for Redmi 4, Redmi Note 4, and Redmi 4A began at 12pm IST on Friday at Mi.com.
