Xiaomi is likely to launch its third-generation wearable fitness tracker Mi Band 3 soon, say reports. Moreover, the company’s CEO Lei Jun found to be wearing the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 during the Black Shark launch event, which almost confirmed the existence of the device. Now, the manufacturer teases their band on the official twitter handle, showing the design of the device.
The teaser image of Xiaomi Mi Band 3 has almost similar design that of the preceding generation models in the lineup. Compared to the model that was spotted in the wrist of Lei Jun, the teased one has the display buried within the strap space, rather than a protruding design. However, the display curve became much concavo-convex, contrasting with the flat panels on the previous models.
No complete specifications of the wearable device are exposed to date. As the third-gen Mi Band passed the FCC Bluetooth 4.2 certification, the Mi Band 3 appears to be getting ready for an imminent launch.
