As we all know, Xiaomi’ MI MIX 2S is all set to be unveiled in the coming Mobile World Congress with its full grace, as an upgrade to the Mi MIX 2 flagship smartphone The device has been leaked several times before, showed off the corner camera notch on the display and the dual camera setup on the rear panel. Now, the smartphone is in another leak, which seems to be an official teaser from the manufacturer itself. The leak also reveals the hardware specifications of the smartphone.
Considering the leaked information, the Mi IX 2S will be boasted with the hardware specification as we have seen in earlier leaks. Now, this one adds a little more clarification to the information.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S will feature a 5.99-inch Full Vision 3.0 display, powered with Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 8 gigs of RAM. The device would have a 256GB of internal storage on any of the variants. The camera sensor is not mentioned elsewhere, but it is confirmed that the smartphone will sport a 4-axis Optical Image Stabilization technology which would e really helpful in taking photographs or videos without motion blur or shake. Like its predecessor, the Mi MIX 2S will too be shipped with support to 6 modes and 43 network bands globally.
The smartphone body is completely carved out of Ceramic and it looks so shiny. The Mi MIX 2 also had the same body design and material, but with only one camera. In this case, Xiaomi has added a dual-camera setup on the rear middle portion, which the design slightly resembles several HMD Global’s Nokia-branded flagships. The bottom bezel has been trimmed out to look assume as other three edges, leaving no space to hold on your fingers.
Additionally, as there is no fingerprint scanner sensor shown on the images, the smartphone is expcted to have a fingeprint scanner under the display. There must be also a face recognition feature, along with the MIUI X.
Just like the Xiaomi does in their every smartphone lineups, the newly coming flagship too will be priced to an affordable range, which competes with Honor and OnePlus flagship smartphones.
Note! Legitimacy of the leak has not been verified yet
