Xiaomi is getting ready to launch their new smartphone in China. As per the official information, the company is planning to launch the new MIUI 9 and the MI 5X at an event in China on July 26. Now, an official report claims that the pre-registrations of the Mi 5X smartphone has crossed 100,000 already.
The Mi 5X might come with a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen according to past rumors. It will supposedly be powered by the Snapdragon 625 chipset, aided by 4GB of RAM. Prices could start at CNY 1,999 (that’s $295 or €255). In just a short period of time after the Chinese company announces the unveiling date for the Xiaomi 5X, the device had already crosses more than 100,000 registrations via their own online store. To be precise, the figure stood at 139,359 at the time of reporting.
