Xiaomi rolled out the third batch of MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM several days ago to the smartphones in Redmi and Mi lineups. Many devices including the Redmi Note 5 Pro, Note 4, etc. were in the list of the smartphones which get the global beta ROM update. The company now announces that they are discontinuing the Beta ROM distribution due to several bugs.
This is the third batch which is supposed to fix almost every previous bugs. Even though it fixed the previous ones, the new bug has come which affected the Dual-Apps in MIUI. The Dual App is the feature which lets you use two social accounts in one smartphone by cloning the apps. The issue mainly affected the notification for second apps. There are no notification sounds for WhatsApp second account. Also, the notifications from WhatsApp and Telegram get mixed up often. There are also issues with system language changing. The Spanish version crashes when Bluetooth is connected, whilst the Russian language crashed all security apps while charging.
The company has stopped the update and promised another one with a proper fix. If you have already affected by the bugs, you can wait till the company releases another fix. You can flash the fixed ROM using the fastboot method. Otherwise, rollback to MIUI 9 using official ROMs.
