Vivo today launched their latest selfie-centric smartphone, Vivo V5s featuring a 20-megapixel front-facing camera in India. The company launched their latest smartphone into its ‘V series’ for Rs. 18990.
Other than its 20MP Front camera with Sony IMX376 1/2.78″ sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and 5p lens, Vivo V5s has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Vivo claims the smartphone flash gives a ‘Moonlight Glow’ while taking selfies that induces a natural glow on the face that lights up the picture irrespective of the lighting conditions.
Vivo V5s packs a 5.5-inch HD display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Funtouch OS 3.0.
Vivo has integrated an AK4376 Hi-Fi Audio chip on to the board of V5s, which makes the device a perfect companion of Camera and Music as offered by the OEM on their tagline. The connectivity side of the V5s includes VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Micro-USB with OTG, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The 3000mAh battery pack boost up the device, also it weighs 152 grams in total. The smartphone will be available to buy at 18,990 from May 6 onwards.
