As a follow-up to the company’s latest device from V-series V7+, Vivo has launched Vivo V7 in India with similar hardware specifications onboard. Unlike other manufacturers, Vivo has launched the ‘plus’ variant which has the top tier specs couple of months ago, and the V7 is just launched only. The Vivo V7 packs somewhat similar hardware specifications but stands below par.
Comparing both Vivo V7 and V7+, only differences made in terms of spec sheet are storage capacity and audio technology. Vivo V7+ was launched with a loud and accurate Hi-Fi audio system, whereas the Vivo V7 is boasting only a normal ‘non-HiFi’ audio output system. Also, instead of adding 64GB of inbuilt storage space, the company seems to have decreased it to 32GB while coming to the new variant. Stil, the SD Card slot supports up to 256GB of expansion.
Vivo V7 shows very much resemblance with its elder edition V7+ in design and rest of hardware components. The smartphone is coming with a 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 Display (V7+ features a 5.9″ display). The smartphone is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space. The camera department stands same as before, sporting a 24MP front-facing selfie snapperĀ and a 16MP rear camera. As usual, the front camera too has an LED Soft light branded as “Moonlight Selfie”. The fingerprint scanner is located in the rear middle portion of the plastic unibody.
The Chinese brand ships the device with Android 7.1.2 Nougat, layered with FunTouch OS 3.2. The V7 has a 3,000mAh battery under the hood. The device is available to pre-order/buy from Asian COuntries at Rs. 18,990 (roughly around US$293).
