Vivo India has just started sending out several invitations for the media and press in across the country, teasing a new smartphone from the company. As per the poster, the device is yet to be launch in September, probably on first week itself. There is no clue which smartphone could be announced on the date.
As we look on to the teaser image, the out-glowing device portraying shows a number “7”, maybe pointing towards a launch date of September 7. As the invitation is only for the Indian market, there will be no new devices for the country, instead any of the previously launched midrangers in other Asian markets. If we are right, the Vivo would probably be launching any of the mid-ranger smartphones in Y-Series, possibly Vivo Y55S. There is no word from the company confirming the device, but the smartphone “shape maybe 7”, we have been tipped.
Vivo Y55S is a mid range smartphone, featured with 5.2 inch HD display, powered by Snapdragon 425 and 3GB of RAM. The rear camera is of 13MP, and maybe integrated with Vivo’s signature Moonlight Selfie.
We have to wait for a few more to make sure which smartphone has been just teased to be launched. However, the device seems to be any of the mid-ranger or entry level with a 2.5D curved glass on top.
