HMD Global’s next smartphone, Nokia 7.1 Plus has been in leaks from weeks and now it has officially hit China’s telecom regulatory authority website – TENAA. Nokia did seem to be working on a Nokia labeled smartphone with dual-camera and a notch over the display. The smartphone was expected to be the Nokia 7.1 or 7.1 Plus.
The new listing by the TENAA reveals the complete hardware specifications and the physical appearance of the smartphone in detail. Nokia 7.1 Plus sports a design pattern similar to most other smartphones made by HMD. On the hardware side, the device packs a 6.18-inch full HD+ display with a supposed notch on the top of the screen. The device is powered with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 710 Octa-core chipset. The storage variants for the Nokia 7.1 Plus will be 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and the higher model with 6GB RAM and 128 gigs of internal space.
The rear-facing dual camera setup on the smartphone will be of 13MP and 12MP with an optical zoom lens. The front camera is a 20-megapixel sensor. Similar to almost every previous Nokia smartphones, the 7.1 Plus also might under the Android One program, with Android 8.1.0 on board. The all new Nokia 7.1 Plus is anticipated to see the light by early October.
