Indian startup telecom manufacturer Swipe had just launched latest device named Swipe Elite Note, after launching many of their budget devices for Indians. Swipe is not just a smartphone company, they had attempted making many electronic gadgets and won many times, even in TVs. The Swipe Elite Note contains some powerful mid-ranger specs, while it carries the price tag equivalent to that of the entry-level smartphone.
Swipe Elite Note features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, covered with 2.5D Dragontrail glass. The device is powered with Quad-Core MTK6735 64-bit SoC clocked at 1.3GHz, paired with 3GB of RAM, impressible among its opponents in same segment and 16GB internal storage which is expandable via dedicated SD Card slot upto 32GB. The rear snapper for the Swipe Elite Note is having a 13MP Sony made sensor, and the front facing selfie shooter is of 5MP. The device runs Freedom OS, based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The 3,000mAh battery pack juices up the device, dimension of 77.1x154x8.4 mm, and weighs 194g; a bit disappointing. the device offers 4G LTE connectivity along with the other normal connectivity feature sidez including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0. Interestingly, the Swipe Elite Note features an IR Blaster, commonly seen only in premium smartphones, which will help you to throw away all you IR powered remote controllers for your home appliances. Swipe adopts plastic covering on rear panel, while it has a Matte finished metal gold ring around the device, which makes some resemblance with the Micromax’s YU Yuphoria, by seeing from sides.
