Geekbench results listing reveals an unreleased Sharp smartphone with model number FS8016. From the listing, the smartphone has 4GB RAM, powered by Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz.
Japanese OEM Sharp is usually focused on TVs, Computer monitors and other large consumer electronics apart from Smartphones. The company has not gotten a long list of released devices, yet they had written an epic with one of the first bezel-less smartphone ever released – Sharp Aquos series Smartphone, with an incredible design which later Xiaomi adopted on their Mi MIX Smartphones. Apart from the recently launched Aqous R flagship, it is reportedly saying that the company is currently working on a couple of products including another bezel-less flagship and a mid-ranger. The Mid-range device which was alleged to be launched soon must be this one – FS8016.
The newly spotted Sharp FS8016 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. Also, the Smartphone is expected to pack a display with lesser bezels, and a nice configuration on design and camera. If Sharp plans to reveal the smartphone soon, then it will be the second most device to be powered by Snapdragon 660, aside Oppo R11.
