The Japanese multinational display panel manufacturer SHARP has just launched their another bezel-less smartphone in the event held in China, Beijing today. The device is the successor to the AQUOS Crystal 2 launched back in 2015. The device has a bezel0less design as its preceding variants. The bezel-less design was first initiated to the smartphone industry by the Japanese consumer electronics manufacturer and later implemented by the Chinese brand Xiaomi.
The smartphone features a 5.5-inch 4K display with almost zero bezels on top and sides. The bottom portion f front panel is equipped with a Physical home button embedded with a fingerprint scanner. The smartphone is powered with the latest chipset from Qualcomm; the Snapdragon 630 clocked at 2.2GHz. The device also sports a dual camera system for rear combining a 12MP and 8P sensors along, placed vertically looking almost similar to the forthcoming Apple devices. The front facing selfie snapper is powered by an 8 Megapixel sensor.
The SHarp also has launched two variants of the smartphone, one coming with 4GB and RAM and 64GB and the other variant with 6GB of RAM and 128 RAM on board. The smartphone runs NAdroid 7.0 Nougat on board, with some tweaks over the top layer. The smartphone is announced to be priced at CNY 2,499 and CNY 2799 (roughly translated to USD370 and USD 420). The smartphone is expected to make a global debut n August 14.
