Samsung has released a new update to the Galaxy Note 4 and Note 5 devices. The update is currently rolling out to the devices in the United States. The software version N910FXXS1DQG5 is now available for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 devices whereas the version N920TUVS4EQG1 now available for the Galaxy Note 5 devices under T-Mobile.
Both of these updates bring many new enhancements for the devices including July’s Android security patches. So it is one of the most recommended updates for the devices. The update package for the Galaxy Note 4 weighs around 200MB where as the update package for the Galaxy Note 5 weighs 24.39MB.
Released back in 2014, the Galaxy Note 4 sports a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels, an Exynos 5433/Snapdragon 805 CPU, 3GB of RAM, a 16MP rear-facing camera, a 3.7MP front-facing shooter and a 3,220mAh battery. Because the update is being disseminated OTA, it might take a few days before it hits your phone. You can try to manually have the update arrive on your Galaxy Note 5 by going to Settings > Tap Software updates > Download update manually.
