Samsung has finally made its rugged version of the flagship device in S Series, the Galaxy S8 worldwide today. The smartphone is a rigged version of the Galaxy S8 which was launched back in early this year The device is completely shatterproof, waterproof and dust and shock resistant.
Samsung has been addressed the device as the ” toughest Galaxy device ever made.” This got to be true, as the tech giant has made the device with military f=grade materials and rough design which seem to sustain at any harsh circumstances. Samsung has removed the infinity edge display, and replaced with a toughened typical display of 5.8 inches, in favor of fierce look. The rear panel is completely made out of metal with super grips and curves. The Camera module and fingerprint scanner are placed t=in the same position as they did with the regular’ Galaxy S8.
The Galaxy S8 Active has nothing more regarding specs than the typical S8, despite the physical appearance. The display is still 5.8-inch quad HD super AMOLED panel with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio with no edges. The smartphone is still powered with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 System-on-chip paired by four gigs of RAM. The primary camera module carries a 12MP shooter with an aperture of f/1.7 as well as an 8MP selfie shooter.
As usual, the company has managed to insert a larger battery into the new Active device – 4000mAh. Meteor Gray and Titanium Gold are the color options available for the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active in the US, exclusively available at AT&T NEXT for $28.34/month for 30 months. The total cost of the smartphone is counted to $850.
