Today in a press event, Samsung India launched their new Android device Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2017) in the country. Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2017) is an entry-level tablet device with a basic level features, but it costs Rs. 17,990. The device is expected to go sale in offline and online markets soon. Despite it is an entry-level device, it comes with a new design, which looks more durable.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2017) comes with an 8-inch large display with a WXGA resolution of 1280×800 pixels. It runs on a quad-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset. It offers a 2GB of RAM and a 16GB of internal storage. It can be further expanded for up to 256GB using a microSD card. It features an 8-megapixel primary camera with f/1.9 aperture and flash, and there is a 5MP front camera. The rear camera also comes with Autofocus feature.
The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm jack, USB Type-C port, and GPS + GLONASS / Beidou. It supports a single Nano-SIM card. The Samsung tablet A 2017 measures 212.1×124.1×8.9mm and weighs 364 grams. It costs Rs. 17,990 in the country and will be available through major online and offline retailers.
