Samsung launches its midrange budget smartphone Galaxy J4 in India. The smartphone comes in the low-tier midrange smartphone category, comes with a familiar design. The device, even though it launched in 2018, the smartphone does not sport any latest design aspect. The display panel is of same old 16:9, and not the trendy 18:9.
The Samsung Galaxy J4 packs a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display. The smartphone is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7570 Chipset, paired with 2GB RAM. The top variant comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB Internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB. The rear camera department is equipped with a 13MP singe lens. One of the main highlights of the smartphone is its 5MP selfie snapper with LED flash. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo with TouchWiz UI onboard.
The Galaxy J4 smartphone is boosted with 3,000mAh battery which gives battery backup up to 20 hours. On the connectivity side, the smartphone is provided with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Samsung recently seems more urged to launch devices with Super AMOLED display, which provides vibrant colours and better visibility. But, the company does not make it up to the price range while comparing with other rivals including Xiaomi, Asus, Huawei, etc. The Galaxy J4 itself is an underpowered smartphone with only AMOLED display hype. A typical user might not be concerned about the display panel type, but the hardware specifications. So, it is time for Samsung to pick up on providing better value for money aspects.
