Several days ago, several upcoming midrange smartphones by the Samsung had been leaked from Galaxy A-series. Both the smartphones, Galaxy A9 Star and A9 Star Lite, are expected to see the light on June 7 in China. Ahead of the launch, the company now opens the pre-order for the devices in the country.
The company provides many offers and giveaways to the users who pre-order the devices. The gifts including a mystery gift box, A9 Star branded t-shirt, stylish transparent case, postcards and Samsung Level U wireless earphones. Among the buyers, the company to choose several lucky ones and will provide with the free ticket to attend the launch event on June 7 at Beijing. Samsung says the preorder will end on June 14, and the shipments will be delivered starting June 15th, after the official release on 7th June.
Samsung Galaxy A9 Star comes with a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED infinity display, equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal storage onboard. The device also sports the Samsung’s Bixby AI Personal Assitant, which has been here only with the flagship devices by the Korean giant. Both the front and rear facing camera setups feature 24MP sensors, along with the face recognition feature. There is also a fingerprint scanner amidst the glass back panel. The company also introduces the Dolby Atmos among their midrange series devices. The smartphone is juiced up with a 3700mAh battery. It is available to pre-order in black and white color options, starting at CNY 3699 (~$576).
On the other hand, the underpowered variant of the device, Galaxy A9 Star Lite comes with similar hardware specifications. The model has the same 4GB+64GB memory variant, but a 6.0-inch Super AMOLED panel on the front. The smartphone also equips the 24MP camera setup with the Live focus option. Apart from the face recognition, this one has also gotten the fingerprint scanner beneath the camera sensor similar to the Galaxy S9+. The rear panel is of the aluminum metal unibody design. As per the official listed price, the smartphone costs CNY 2699, which merely translates into USD 420.
