Samsung has today launched the company’s latest premium midrange smartphone in A-series, in the Indian market – Samsung Galaxy A8+. The device has been leaked in several live images couple of weeks, ago, with some stunning appearance in design. The device comes with Samsung’s so-called infinity display, but without any curved edges like in Samsung Galaxy S8, Note 8 and S7 Edge.
The smartphone is built with metal frame, having a glowy glass-made rear panel which looks stunning in daylight. The fingerprint scanner is attached to the rear camera, in order to save space for the infinity display. The device has totally three cameras, among them two are on the front. The Samsung offers Live Focus on the front camera, the first time in Samsung’s lineup devices.
Samsung Galaxy A8+ features a 6-inch sAMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The main rear camera of the smartphone sports a 16MP sensor with an aperture of f/1.7. The device is powered with Samsung Exynos 7885 Octa-Core Chipset clocked at 2.1 GHz, packs 6GB of RAM under the hood. The smartphone boasts storage space options for 32GB and 64GB. Samsung ships the smartphone with Android 7.1.1 Nougat on the board.
The featuring 3500mAh battery pack could maintain a good amount of SOT battery life. The device is also certified with IP68 Water Proofing, so no worries about being underwater. The smartphone will be on sale by January 20th, says Samsung India. You can buy the device at 32,990 INR from Amazon India, in three colour options- black, orchid grey and gold.
