Samsung Galaxy A5(2018) clears FCC

South Korean smartphone manufacturing giant Samsung is reportedly working on some of their mid-range premium smartphones from A-series with a revamped design pattern. We have recently reported that the company has the all-new Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 2018 versions under their sleeves, with the so-called infinity display which they already implemented with the Galaxy S8 and Note 8 devices. Although, both the device would not have the curved edge but, with an almost bezel-less 18:9 display.

As far as we know, the Samsung Galaxy A5(2018) is getting ready to be unveiled soon, but not sure how far from now. Now, the United States’ FCC Clearance document appeared on the Federal Communications Commissions reveals that the smartphone is all set to be cleared from the FCC Regulations, and ready to be launched. As the device has got the final stage cleared, we guess, the company is planning an imminent product launch globally. It is expected to have the smartphone launched initially at CES 2018, Las vegas.

Concerning the previous leaks, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) is anticipated to launch with 5.5-inch AMOLED display, powered with Exynos 7885 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. The latter from the same series, A7 (2018) is also expected to launch in the same period, with a larger 6-inch display panel.
