One of the most anticipated smartphones from LG, the LG V30 is expected to be unveiled by the company at IFA Berlin late this August. Now a recent report claims that the corporation will start selling the smartphone in its home country South Korea by September 15, while the global shipping will begin from September 28, especially in the US. As we have reported earlier, the European markets will also list out the smartphone as soon as the US market gets the smartphone.
LG electronics is experimenting a design change in V series smartphones with the V30, it seems. The secondary ticker display mounted above the primary display was significant design feature of the LG Vseries, yet the company is now removing it in favor of the OLED display. The OLED or Organic LED displays are way expensive in manufacturing. With the company’s own OLED Research and Development crew, the LG will launch the LG V30 as the world’s first smartphone with an OLED display on the top. The secondary ticker display will obviously be ditched; reports say as the OLED can be replaced as a whole display panel to make something different and can be equipped to utilize the minimal power consumption.
In case you are eager to know about the supposed specs sheet of LG V30, the smartphone will feature an bezel-less OLED display panel, powered with SD835 and 4 or 6 gigs of RAM. The smartphone, as usual, will have a dual rear camera and the front dual camera seems to be returning to tech series as per some earlier unconfirmed reports. Apart from the display and camera features, the device will have some sound and microphone tweaks like Audio DAC technology.
