Most of you have probably familiar with the Linux Kernel based OS named Sailfish OS from Finnish manufacturer Jolla. As well, the Sailfish OS supports most of the Android apps, and supports Android based Hardwares and drivers. But, there were no notable arrivals from manufacturers, with Sailfish pre-loaded, although some arrived devices were of lowest-range devices. Now, a Sailfish program partner of Jolla, Plural has been announced a Smartphone with some advanced specs, compared to other sailfish devices.
The new device from Plural is named as Oysters SF. The device features with a 5 inch sized display, powered with MediaTek MT6753, 64-bit Cortex-A53 at 1.3GHz Chipset with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage which is expandable upto 32GB via dedicated extension slot. The main camera sporting a 13MP imaging sensor, while it has a 5MP front facing camera.
The 4G LTE Cat.4 powered smartphone is juiced up with a 3,000mAh battery pack, and will be soon available on Russian market. No details about pricing have been revealed until now. Stay with us, we’ll let you know.
