OPPO is currently working on their forthcoming premium-midrange smartphones OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition, which recently appeared in TENAA listing. Another leak which just got exposed recently shows the complete specifications for both the smartphones, including the colour variants available.
From the leaked details, OPPO R15 features a 6.28-inch AMOLED display having a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels. Under the hood, the device carries MediaTek Helio P60 Chipset clocked at 2.0GHz, coupled with 6GB of RAM. For the artificial intelligence capability, a dual-core Neural Processing Unit is also embedded on the motherboard. The onboard storage space for the smartphone is of 128GB. On the other hand, the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition comes with the same display but powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC having a clock rate of 2.2GHz, alongside the dual-core NPU (Neural Processing Unit) for Hardware-based Artificial Intelligence. The RAM and the storage space are equal for both, 6GB+128GB. On the front, the same 20MP selfie camera lies, whilst the rear facing combo is of 16MP+20MP, both having an aperture size of f/1.7. OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirrors Edition run Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.0 on top.
OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition smartphones have 3450mAh, and 3400mAh battery packs support OPPO’s VOOC Fast Charger. The R15 is packed with a 2.5D Glass back panel having dimensions of 7.4mm thickness and 175grams, whereas the latter is provided with a 3D glass back panel, 7.49mm thickness and 175g weight. The colour options available are Purple, Red, Dark Red, Pearl White and Black. There was no apparent pricing allusion or margin between the both.
