Today in a press event, Oppo India unveiled a new smartphone to the market. The all new Oppo 183 (2018) is now official in the country for Rs. 15,990. This smartphone is a successor of the previously launched Oppo A83. The Chinese company unveiled the OPPO A83 in January and now they are releasing the upgraded version. The original A83 costs Rs. 13,990 and the upgraded version costs Rs. 15,990. The new device has more features and new specifications as compared to the predecessor.
The biggest improvement in the new version is its RAM and storage capacity. All other specifications are exactly same as the A83 Original version. The Oppo A83 (2018) has 64GB of inbuilt storage (Oppo A83 has 32GB inbuilt storage) that is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). It has 4GB of RAM and runs on a 2.5GHz octa-core MT6737T chipset from MediaTek.
The Oppo A83 2018 offers HD+ (720×1440) resolution on its 5.7-inch display, and as the resolution indicates, it has an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by a 2.5GHz chip, the MediaTek MT6763T Helio P23, and offers 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory with support for expandable memory thanks to a dedicated microSD slot. The A83 comes with a 3180mAh battery and has a 13MP rear shooter and an 8MP selfie snapper on the front. The A83 is a dual SIM phone and runs on Android 7.1. The device measures 150.50×73.10×7.70mm and weighs 143 grams.
