Reportedly, the OnePlus 3 has been started rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo Update in a Closed Beta Group. It is a matter of astonishment that its successors the OnePlus 3T and the OnePlus 5 hasn’t received any update and are expected to receive the Stable update by mid-September.
The Public Beta will be rolled out by the September end to these OnePlus devices and it’ll become the first ever OEM to provide the Oreo Update. This was reported by the Android Police, that the OnePlus update is still buggy since the OP 3’s build is not yet ready to receive the Oreo onboard. According to it, the device NFC found to be non-functional and WiFi, hotspot, Bluetooth also has issues.
The Chinese smartphone company had promised to provide their users with the latest Android Version back in June and said they are expecting to roll out the update by end of 2017, while now it seems the update to hit very early. The Google has already started rolling out Oreo update for the Pixel, Pixel XL smartphones earlier this month.
