Sony has now confirmed to roll out Android 8.0 Oreo update to its Xperia devices that were launched back in 2016. These list of devices are to reportedly found from Sony Mobiles blog, that will launch with a new Sony Skin based on the Android Oreo.
The list of 2016 Sony Xperia Smartphones to which the Android Update includes:
- Xperia X
- Xperia X Performance
- Xperia XZ
- Xperia X Compact
- Xperia XZ Premium
- Xperia XZs
- Xperia XA1
- Xperia XA1 Ultra
- Xperia XA1 Plus
- Xperia Touch
Sony hasn’t revealed when will they send the Oreo updates for these devices. While the Japanese Maker will be shipping their new flagship smartphones, Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact launched at the IFA 2017 with the Android O out of the box. The XZ1 smartphones come with whole new 3D Capturing Ability.
The successor to Android Nougat made official in last week, it has also arrived for Google’s Pixel devices as OTA Update, and most of the OEMs has found announcing the devices to which they’ll be pushing the software update.
