A new update is now rolling out to the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser smartphones. The new update is now globally available and you can download it on your phones. The update is available only for the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser (ZE601KL) model. However, this is a patch update, so it doesn’t contain any new features.
The latest software build is V21.40.1220.2153 and you can download it now from the update section. This update brings a major fix for a bug related to the volume control. Some of the Zenfone 2 Laser devices were experiencing an issue which restricts from adjusting volume levels when the user is in handsfree mode.
However, it contains some other improvements as well. Check the changelog here:
