Xiaomi has recently launched Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus, but they haven’t got an enough warm welcome from the market, and Netizens had criticized the company. By the specifications, look, and features, Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus show very resemblance to their predecessor Mi 5 and could not succeed as they expected. But the company is reportedly working on their upcoming Flagship device Mi Note 2, the Trump Card under the sleeve.
As the Xiaomi had been a character for the criticism, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun now come forward and declare that the success gap of Mi 5s will be filled through the Mi Note 2. It will be configured with surprising features, said Lei Jun.
From the previous leaks and rumors, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be the powerful smartphone to be launched this year. The device may feature a 5.5-inch display, with a Dual-Curved edge and 2K Resolution. It would have force touch feature and a screen embedded Ultra Sonic fingerprint scanner, first ever in smartphones. Previous rumors confirmed a device with Snapdragon 821 and 6GB RAM, but according to the latest news talks surfacing, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be powered by Qualcomm’s unannounced Snapdragon 835 Processor, which has not been anticipated till now, paired with 6GB RAM. The storage option will give a 128GB native space. Those rumors also suggest a 21 Megapixel Dual rear camera.
But concerning the words of Xiaomi CEO, more features are there to be expected, including price. The rumors about the price tag gave around 1999RMB (~300$), and if this might be true, it provides an excellent opportunity to wait for the device, who are expecting a highly specified device at a convenient price.
