Today in a press event, the Chinese manufacturer Meizu has launched their latest smartphone M6. The new Meizu M6 is a successor to the previously launched M5 series. It comes with a 5.2-inch display and VoLTE support. The new Meizu M6 is a budget level Android smartphone, which costs CNY 699, which is around Rs. 6,800. The higher variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage costs Around Rs. 8,800.
The new Meizu M6 has no much improvements in terms of design as compared to the predecessor. It is almost similar in every angle. The only visual difference in these models is the newly designed silver coloured metallic lines on the top and bottom. Just like the M5, this model also features a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280) display with 2.5D curved glass on top. It comes as two different variants. They are 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage variant and 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage variant.
The new Meizu M6 runs on an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor with Mali T860 GPU, which is also similar to the Meizu M5. The device comes with Flyme OS 6.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box. It has a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/2.2 aperture. The front camera is of 8-megapixel and it is the only one difference from the M5. The Meizu M5 comes with a 5-megapixel front camera, so M6 has an upgraded front camera. It features a similar 3070mAh battery. So overall, Meizu M6 is an upgraded variant of the M5.
