In advance to the Vivo’s APEX technology with all-screen design, another Chinese manufacturer was reportedly working on a new smartphone with a similar design – Lenovo Z5. Several days ago, the company officials teased the smartphone with the launch date, set to 6th June. Now, the Senior Vice President of Lenovo Chang Cheng publishes a partial image of the smartphone which shows off the colour options it would arrive with.
Lenovo Z5 seems to be packed with a gradient colour back panel, similar to the Huawei P20 Pro. The gradient twilight or aurora colour option makes a luminescent effect in light, which looks stunning. Identical to the Huawei’s, the Lenovo implements the colour combo of Blue and Purple altogether.
The image also reveals the body panel structure of the device. The smartphone does equip a back glass panel, with 2.5D curves to the edges. The company logo is imprinted behind the panel with reflective lustre effect. The side frames are built on a premium aluminium frame. As per the official announcements, the smartphone will see the light on June 6.
Lenovo Z5 Specifications
There were no much leaks regarding the Lenovo Z5 out yet. However, the teasers and several reports shed light on the expected hardware specification it would carry. The smartphone must offer the display panel having at least 6.1-inch display, with no bezels around. There is still no confirmation if the company plans to put a notch on the top chin of the screen or make it utterly bezel-less device like Vivo NEX.
Concerning other hardware specifications, the device could stand among the mid-tier smartphones with the Snapdragon 600 or 700 series processors instead of an SDM845 SoC. Also, there seems to have 6GB of RAM and 128GB Internal Storage. The rear dual camera will have an AI-support, which is too common these days.
