Lenovo India has just launched another mid-range smartphone from K-series in the country, Lenovo K8 Plus. The smartphone has dual-camera setup on the rear for better primary photography results.
The company had launched Lenovo K8 Note back in August with the same dual camera feature with the hardware specification coming under mid-ranger series device segment. The device was powered with MediaTek’s Helio X20, whereas the K8 Plus carries Helio P20 CPU under the hood. Many of the hardware specifications of the newly launched K8 Plus seems similar to that of K8 Note.
As the company has proclaimed earlier, the smartphone runs Android Nougat 7.1.1 stock UI with all stock Android experience features included, despite the Lenovo’s Vibe Pure UI which was ditched by the company itself to bring faster updates and to reduce bloatware. On the rear, a fingerprint scanner is mounted just below the camera department. The primary camera sensors are of 13MP+5MP to help the bokeh effect and autofocus to set faster. The selfie snapper counts to an 8 Megapixel sensor. The massive battery with the Lenovo K8 Plus offers a 2 days backup, and 13 hours of continuous web browsing (~100 hours of music).
According to Lenovo, there also another downgraded smartphone from the same series is forthcoming with all the specs similar to the K8 Plus, but with a single 13MP rear facing camera. This one would be available in the offline retail stores across the country.
