Today, Huawei’s CEO, Mr. Richard Yu has unveiled their new product in the premium category. The new Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro devices are official now. Both of them come with some amazing premium features and specifications. Both of them feature a fullview display with 18:9 aspect ratios.
The Huawei Mate 10 comes with a 5.9-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) LCD display. But the Mate 10 Pro has a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) OLED display. With these expansive screens, the company is aiming to improve the video streaming experience. Even though it has bigger screens, because of the narrow bezel design, the devices are smaller than most of the 6-inch devices. On the front, it looks more similar to the Vivo V7+.
The HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC is so powerful, Yu said, you can simply connect the device to a monitor and turn it into a PC without using a dock. Once done, the phone can also serve as a mouse, a company executive demonstrated onstage at a media event in Munich, Germany. It features four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.36GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz, and an i7 co-processor, apart from the Mali-G72 Mp12 GPU and NPU.
The Huawei Mate 10 and Pro runs the new EMUI 8.0, based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The new Smart Screen function can run two apps on the phone simultaneously or turn the phone into a PC – either mirroring or extending its screen.
These two will be available in mid-November. The Mate 10 Pro will set you back €800 while the premium Porsche Edition is a hair-raising €1,400. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is priced at EUR 799 (roughly Rs. 61,000) and will be available in Novemeber.
