Taiwanese quality smartphone maker HTC had used out the Android 8.0 Oreo update for their users in Asia countries back in November last year. Even after two months, the company could not be able to consider the users in other regions. The company has also apologized for the delay in Android 8.0 Oreo update delay in Europe and several other regions. Starting from today, the HTC has begun rolling out the latest Operating System Over-the-Airto their user in EMEA (consist of Europe, Middle East, and Africa).
There is no much information regarding the update has been received so far yet, the users in the region have already confirmed the update hit on their smartphones. The new update seems to have hit already in almost every Middle East countries and the European users are still awaiting for the update, which is expected to deliver within days. The new update upgrades the Software Build Number to 2.33.401.10 from the lower number. The entire update weighs almost 1.31GB, bringing Android Oreo and system performance enhancements.
Before proceeding for the installation of update, make sure that your smartphone has enough storage space to download the 1.31GB of data, enough moil data or Wi-Fi Network. Before instaling, your device must have atleast 60% of battery charge inorder to avoid the failure risks due to low battery.
