When the Google introduced Android One project in several Asian countries several years ago, they actually aimed to make the Android smartphones affordable for everyone. For that, many Indian-Chinese brands have joined their hands with the Internet Giant to make several devices, which had gotten the updates very faster and had the direct support from Google’s Android Official team. Unfortunately, Android One smartphone series were much basic and could not meet the expectations of average smartphone buyers regardless of the Stok Android experience which was available for Nexus smartphones only.
The term Android One has actually vanished from the market for a while until the company launched the Pixel smartphones last year. Many had provoked the rumor that the Google could possibly raise another Android One or similar concept to make mid-range Google smartphones in corporation with several mainstream players in the market. As a part of this, the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi had launched the Mi A1 smartphone in India last week, with Stock Android experience on board, a smartphone with Android One label after a while. There is no surprise that the Google had chosen Xiaomi for a mid-range Android One and Xiaomi has chosen India for the initial release. The company has clearly a signature in the Indian smartphone market in making the powerful Android smartphones at an affordable pricing in the country.
We have already seen that the Xiaomi Mi A1 is just a stock android version of company’s earlier Mi 5X smartphone, with a dual-camera setup on the rear. It even can take shots with Bokeh effect and could withstand along with the OnePlus 5, say reports.
HTC Ocean_Life will be released under Android One program. It will lose most of the HTC apps and run stock Android O with Sense 9.0_A1.

Now, Twitter user @LlabTooFeR had tweeted on twitch regarding another Android One smartphone from a company which stands a lot closer to the Google, the Taiwanese electronics giant HTC. According to him, the HTC will push the unreleased HTC U11 Life smartphone to be issued under Google’s Android One Program. The HTC U11 Life is actually an anticipated mid-range version of the early flagship HTC U11 smartphone, with some moderate hardware specification under the hood.
HTC U11 Life is expected to feature a 5.2 inch Full HD display, powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC and 4 gigs of RAM. Both the front facing and rear facing camera departments would sport 16MP sensors. The device will also have Edge Sense technology, which is the “squeezable” USP of the U11 series smartphone.
