Huawei’s subbrand Honor has just launched the company’s latest device in the Honor series. – Honor 9i in an event held in India. The smartphone comes in Honor 9 series but does not actually share much hardware features with actual Honor 9 smartphone. The same device has already been launched in several countries like China and Malaysia with the names Maimang 6 and Nova 2i respectively. The device is rebranded for the Indian market as Honor 9i, as the company has no plans to launch the Honor 9 flagship in the country. However, the Honor has already launched the company’s flagship device Honor 8 pro in India, which has no much difference regarding spec sheet.
Concerning the hardware specification of the Honor 9i smartphone, the device features a 5.9-inch Full HD+ ( 1080×2160 px) display with 18:9 aspect ratio, having narrow bezels around. The Smartphone is powered by Huawei’s in-house HiSIlicon Kirin 659 Chipset under the hood, coupled with four gigs of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone sports dual camera modules on both front and rear panel. The rear-facing main camera department boasts dual-lens 16MP+2MP sensors, whereas the front facing snappers are a 13MP+2MP combo.
The Honor 9i smartphone has a 3,340mAh battery pack juiced up, with a fingerprint scanner on the rear metal body. The smartphone will be available to buy from authorized dealers at just Rs. 17,999.
