Most awaited flagship smartphone from the Huawei’s sub brand Honor, the Honor 9 is supposed to launch by today (June 12th). Ahead of the launch ceremony, the device specs have been leaked through a set of screenshots exposed by a Weibo user. The device was also confirmed to sock the supposed set of specs from an earlier time leaked poster last week.
From the leaked images, the Honor 9 is expected to have a 5.2 inch Full HD display, same as it’s predecessor. The smartphone is powered by Huawei’s in-house HiSilicon Kirin 960 Chipset which was already used with Huawei Mate 9 back in November. The device also carried 6GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage which could be expandable. The screenshot also reveals about the software phase, runs EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0.
From the earlier leaks, the Honor 9 smartphone seems to sport a dual camera setup on rear like it’s preceding model, combined of 21MP+12MP sensors. Front facing camera will be of 8MP with f/1.7 aperture. Concerning the design, the device would probably carry a Honor 8 resembling design with fingerprint scanner on front, says older leaks.
The Smartphone would probably hang on to the same old 3000mAh battery, or will probably upgrade to a maximum of 3300 mAh. Even though these leaks makes sense, it wouldn’t do so long as the device is expected to be unveiled very soon – within hours. Stay tuned until we come back with the official launch news.
Update : There is also an unboxing teaser from the company leaked few hours back. Have a look at it.
