Today at a press event in China, Huawei launched their latest offering in the Chinese market. The successor of the last year’s popular smartphone model Honor 6x, the new Honor 7X is official now with some smart specifications and tempting specifications. Honor 7X is expected to arrive in more markets very soon. However, the company has recently launched Honor 9i in India, so Indian customers need to wait a bit longer to have the new Honor 7X in their market.
This dual-SIM smartphone comes with a 5.93-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) curved display featuring an 18:9 screen ratio support and minimal bezels in a unibody metal form factor. The Honor 7X runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat based EMUI 5.1 software out of the box. It is powered by a midrange series Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset coupled with a 4GB of RAM. Talking about the chipset, 4 x Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.36GHz + 4 x Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7GHz. It has a dual camera setup on the rear side with a 12-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors and an 8-megapixel front camera.
Honor 7x comes in three variants. However, three of them vary each other with storage capacity. They are 32GB, 64GB and the 128GB version. Additionally, you can expand the storage space for up to 256GB using a microSD card. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS / GLONASS etc. It costs CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 12,890) for the 32GB variant, the 64GB model is priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 16,850), and the 128GB storage model is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 19,820).
