Huawei sub-brand Honor is all set to officially unveil the forthcoming mid-ranger smartphone Honor 7C on 12th March. Ahead of the official launch, the smartphone has been leaked via many sources lately, including the published details from the TENAA, the Chinese Telecom Regulatory Authority. Now, the smartphone has just shown up in another official Ad video which got exposed online. Here we have our first exclusive look on to the smartphone leaked video. The Honor 7C will be a downgraded version of Honor 7X, but almost similar to the Honor 9 Lite.
The Ad video is all about the face recognition feature, and apparently, for this time, the company is emphasizing the security feature as one of the best. Like the previous updates to several Honor smartphones, the face recognition feature for Honor 7C is based on software and the smartphone needs to be held straight towards the face to get unlocked. However, the company claims it as much secure. Also, the dual-camera setup on the rear of the smartphone is confirmed. As like we have seen on earlier leaks, the rear camera department is mounted at the top left corner horizontally. Also, the fingerprint scanner is apparently on the back panel.
The smartphone was teased to launch officially in China on 12 March, at an affordable price tag. There is no explicit mention of the pricing details of the smartphone, well, it is expected to come with CNY 1199 price tag (USD 190 Approx.). According to the hardware specifications featured on TENAA, Honor 7C features a 5.99-inch HD+ display, powered by Kirin 659 Chipset and 3GB/4GB of RAM on board. On the rear, the smartphone will sport a dual-lens combo of 20MP+13MP and an 8MP sensor on the front. The colour variants or the device available will be Champagne Gold, Rose Gold, Black, and Blue. Both the Black and Blue colour variants have appeared in the video now.
