You might have read yesterday’s leak of Huawei’s next smartphone model Hono 7A. Now, the company started sending the official invitation for the launch event of Honor 7A smartphone in Beijing, China. As per the official invitation shared by the brand, they are planning to launch the smartphone on April 2. That means, the device will become official on next monday. However, we already know some specifications and other factors about the device including the design.
According to the leaks, Honor 7A is expected to feature a 5.7-inches display with 720 x 1,440 pixels screen resolution which has an 18:9 tall aspect ratio. The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 430 SoC with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage space under its memory compartment. Camera-wise, you can find a 13MP+2MP dual-camera on its back, as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing selfie cam. It reveals that the device will be a budget level smartphone.
If we closely look at the invitation teaser, it confirms some of the leaks. The teaser shows a dual camera setup and dual speaker system. Also it features the face unlock system. As per the leaks, the device doesn’t have any fingerprint scanner, instead you have to use the face unlock feature. This is just a simple trick by Huawei to promote the use of face unlock feature in their smartphones, that’s why they are started ditching the fingerprint scanner from the entry level devices. Honor 7A will be arriving with a mid-ranger specs and a pretty affordable price tag of around 1,499 Yuan ($240)
