Google’s video chatting client Duo has a voice calling feature as well. This is a new thing to most of you. Because this feature was available only in Brazil. But now, it becomes global. Today, Google Duo’s principal engineer Justin Uberti has announced this awesome news in a tweet. The app will have a new toggle menu on the top which will let you switch between a voice call and video call.

But why? The duo was introduced as a video calling app. Now it supports media sharing, voice calling, and all such things. Are they following the competitors like Skype and FaceTime?
