Google launched their Daydream view VR headset later 2016, though it has less support due to limited
Android smartphone compatibility. That’s why there is no info about the marketing of Daydream VR.
Now google is looking for users to try out the Daydream view, there are some cool offers on Google
store now.
Starting today, until June 18, people who buy the Daydream at $79, will have a $25 credit on their
Google Play Store to use it there, just like a discount. Moreover, Google looks like, they are offering a
duo, because they want the users of Daydream VR to tryout some cool apps on Play Store with support
of a VR headset. However, there is no terms and conditions for the credit. It’s given to the freedom of
the customer to buy anything from Play Store, Music, Movies or Books.
As mentioned above, the Daydream View VR supports few devices, so the buyer should confirm that
their device is compatible with it. Google Pixel and Pixel XL, Motorola’s Moto Z and Moto Z Force are
some of the devices compatible with Daydream VR. Recently, Daydream added support for ZTE Axon 7
and Huawei Mate 9 Pro along with Porsche Designed Mate 9. Also, in Google I/O 2017, the company
confirmed the support for Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, with a software update later in this summer.
There is a hope that more devices will be supported by Daydream View VR headset later this year.
