Huawei’s upcoming flagship smartphone in P-series, supposed to named as Huawei P20, is expected to launch in the coming Mobile World Congress 2018 (MWC) to be held in Barcelona. In the beginning, the smartphone was expected to carry the name P11, as being the successor to the Huawei P10. But the company later changed the plans and the greater chance goes for the P20. However, the smartphone hardware specifications have been exposed in a couple of leaks so far. Now, the supposed renders of the Huawei P20 and P20 are leaked online.
The leaks are out through a case manufacturer, which almost seems legit. The smartphone’s tiple camera on the rear panel, which we have been expected, is clearly shown in the renders. Unlike the preceding devices in the lineup, the camera lens arrangement is changed from horizontal to vertical. Now, the three camera sensors along with the LED flashlight are mounted vertically, which reminds us f the iPhone X to an extent. The camera department covers not a little space on the rear portion, but not ugly. Both the Huawei P20 and P20 Plus have the similar design pattern, differs only in dimensions. The design elements show off only the rear portion of the device clearly. As it is just a case manufacturer render we cannot assure the 100% legitimate on the design to be the exact same.
Huawei P20 is expected to come in three variants – P20, P20 Plus, P20 Lite. Among these, P20 Lite would carry only dual-camera instead of tri-camera setup. As per the previous reports, the smartphone will feature an OLED display panel with iPhone X-like chin on the top. Huawei’s “Point-Cloud Depth camera” sensors will be used in front, mounted on the notch. The smartphone will be powered with AI-powered Kirin 970 Chipset, 6GB RAM and Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.1 onboard.
