Bluetooth Special Interest Group’s Mark Powell announced that fifth generation is coming soon. it’s expected to offer fast data travel rates and extended range that Bluetooth 4.0 with up to 2x the Range and 4x the data travel rates. it will give bunch of performance improvement over the last bluetooth version we have i-e, Bluetooth 4.0. it’s expected to make use of larger “advertising packets”. Advertising Packets has abilities to share data like, Device Name without being paired with another device.
Mark Powell also mentioned that,
“By adding significantly more capacity to advertising transmissions, Bluetooth 5 will further propel the adoption and deployment of beacons and location-based services to users around the world,”
Expectations
The most important advantage or NEXT-GEN Bluetooth Faster Data travel rates may prove in better sound quality with the Bluetooth speakers will still work under LONG Distances. it’s Expected to launch on 16th of this Month.
Is your Hardware Compatible?
Of course not, The current hardware will not support Bluetooth 5.0, Because the new bluetooth needs a new hardware.
