ASUS has launched the Zenfone V which is previously tagged as the ASUS Ontario.The new smartphone is revealed exclusively for Verizon Carrier. ASUS official website is pinned with the design and hardware of ZenFone V.
Identical to the previous devices in Zenfone Series, the Zenfone V also comes in dark back panel fitted with the main Camera. The single rear camera and the LED Flash are forth above to the Verizon branding. And the phone is scratch proof with the screen protection layer of Corning Gorilla Glass.
The capacitive buttons and fingerprint scanner are placed in the same bezel down of the display. While other hardware buttons are placed either of the sides- Volume buttons and power button are fixed on the right side and the left side with the slot for nanoSIM and MicroSD. By the bottom, the loudspeaker, USB-C type port, and the headphone jack are placed.
ASUS Zenfone V is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset with Quad Core Kryo processors maximized with 2.2 GHz processing speed. And it is comprised with the Adreno 530 GPU. The device is packed with 4GB RAM and 32 GB eMMC inbuilt storage availed to expand storage. The display striking with a 5.2-inch FullHD resolution of 1920 x 1080 immersed with ASUS’s Tru2Life technology which enables the outdoor readability much more easeful. The device will power up with a non-removable battery housed at 3,000 mAh capacity which supports fast charging by USB Power Delivery 2.0 protocol. Zenfone V is hardly descriptive in terms of its volume. The Sart AMP technology fro NXP delivers 20% increase in volume, 42% low distortion and 17% deeper Bass.
The rear Camera sensor is powered by Sony. The 23-megapixel IMX318 sensor sports the rear while the front is 8-megapixel Selfie Shooter. Camera Manufacturer says that the rear camera is capable of focusing on a subject within 0.03 second with the help of laser and phase detecting autofocus technology.And the sensor is able for OIS as well as EIS and should expect some clear imagery from Zenfone V. Out-of-the-box, Zenfone V will come with Android 7.0 Nougat comprising the ASUS ZenUI 3.0 User Interface over the OS.
Zenfone V is Verizon Exclusive and so it does not sup[port CDMA networks from other carriers. Also, it is a LTE-Only smartphone which connects only to LTE infrastructure of Verizon. Pricing and availability information will be available soon. Stay tuned.
