The Wi-Fi alliance website listing has revealed that the Korean giant Samsung is currently testing the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the premium mid-range devices Galaxy A8 (SM-A800), Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A910X), Galaxy Tab E 8.0 (SM-T37X) and Galaxy Tab E 9.7 (SM-T560). The new update is currently under the review of Wi-Fi alliance for the final confirmation, and it will be rolled out as soon as it passes Wi-Fi tests.
Android Nougat update has been rolled out to almost every smartphone launched last year and this year, even from Samsung and several more devices left to be received with the update. We can surely presume that the Samsung is a bit slower this time with rolling out the update for the Galaxy A8, A9 Pro, and the aforementioned devices, as the Android O 8.0.0 official unveiling date is almost near.
According to the reports, it will take at least two to four weeks for the Nugat update to make up the debut on every smartphone Over the air after passing the Wi-fi alliance norms.
The new Nougat update from Samsung for these devices would be same as the ones hit lately, with new TouchWiz UI on top, with extra Nougat features like split-screen, the new set of emojis, Battery optimizers, etc.
Have an eye on your settings panel if you have a Samsung Galaxy A8, Galaxy A9 Pro, Galaxy Tab E 8.0 or Galaxy Tab E 9.7 for the update, also let us know when you start receiving the update.
