HTC USA had just announced the official update for unlocked HTC 10 smartphones to Android 7.0 Nougat after they confirmed the update would arrive as earlier as this year a few months back. Now the official Twitter statement from HTC confirms the rollout by November 26th. It is also confirmed by the HTC VP Mo Versi on his Twitter handle.
The update would benefit for the Unlocked HTC 10 users in the USA, and it is almost bug-free as the rollout version had passed out the Technical Acceptance testings. The update is limited only to US users, only for unlocked versions.
As there may have the procedural delay with carrier configurations, the users who are up to carrier versions will get the update by earlier next year only. The Verizon will start updating within the February 2017, followed by other carriers. HTC also confirms the Nougat update for One M9 and One A9 very sooner, but after HTC 10 updates.
