Some hours ago, Samsung’s rugged Galaxy S8 Active smartphone passed the FCC and revealed the design and more details about the device. Now after few hours, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) appears on the FCC. The new 2017 version of the Galaxy Tab 8.0 has been approved by FCC. The new 2017 variant of Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is an unannounced device as Samsung hasn’t revealed anything about the device yet.
In fact, there are two models of the Galaxy Tab A 8.0. One is Wi-Fi only version and the other one is LTE version. The model numbers are SM-T380 and the SM-T385 respectively. Today, the LTE version leaked and it confirms the existence of the LTE version. The Wi-Fi only version has leaked a few months ago. However, the new leak doesn’t reveal any specifications of the device. But it shows the renders of the device in detail.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is 7.4mm-thin, runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, and sports display with 768 x 1024 pixels and 4:3 aspect ratio. The tablet is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, also offering 5 MP rear camera, 2 MP front-facing camera, 1.5 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of expandable storage space. Moreover, the device comes with Microsoft Office for Android, and 100 GB of free storage space on OneDrive for 2 years. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a 4200 mAh battery.
