This is only the Security patch update, so there will not be any feature packs as well as bug fixes. Few Moto devices are now running Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Moto G5 Plus users in India are already receiving this update, which is appreciable. Moto’s support on their smartphones makes them valuable to the customers. Even though the May 2017 Security patch was expected in the beginning of Month of June.
If any users didn’t receive the update notification, you should have to manually check for updates. For a successful updation of this patch, the device should have 50 % charge left on it.
