The most anticipated smartphone in 2017 after Galaxy S8 and LG G6, the Chinese flagship killer OnePlus 5 has been seen through a plenty of leaks and rumors so far. Now, the company officials have stated that the smartphone will be unveiled officially before the world in the day – June 20.
According to the company, when they revealed the launch date, the event will be held as an exclusive online launch ceremony, unlike other flagships. The same online launch pattern has also been followed by the Taiwanese giant HTC at least for their some of the recent flagships. The launch date and time set for the launch are June 20th 12:00 PM EST. The launching will be publicly made available for everyone to watch, possibly both on their website and YouTube.
OnePlus will launch the device with dual camera setup in rear enhanced with DxOMark’s extra tweaks added up. The smartphone is expected to follow the iPhone 7 Plus resembling design pattern, powered by Snapdragon 835 and 8GB of RAM. The 5.5-inch display will sport qHD resolution and will have a narrow bezel, yet not enough to say a bezel-less smartphone.
